EVC
is a nationally recognized model of a media arts education program that makes an important difference in the lives of some of the most hard-to-reach youth. EVC is dedicated to the creative and community-based use of video and multi-media as a means to develop the literacy, critical thinking, and work preparation skills of inner city youth.
Womens Project
Ten Centuries of Women Playwrights serves over 3,000 New York City students in grades 1-12. This intensive program for male and female students exceeds the newly imposed standards and assessments for arts education. It is an inter-disciplinary literary, playwriting and acting program in which theater artists from the Women’s Project are in residence at the school, working in collaboration with classroom teachers.
